The Station

The Station is a point and click interactive art piece with animation, narration, and sound design.   It is based off of the Myth of Sisyphus and explores the idea of nostalgia as a weapon of ideology against marginalized people.  

The piece is an exploration through several rooms designed around nostalgia from various decades including the nostalgia of the people who live in space station.  The viewer is guided by two A.I. named Sabrina and Alex with dialog taken from sources such as Postmodernism and Consumer Society, The Ethics of Ambiguity, The Myth of Sisyphus by Albert Camus, and Lem One Human Minute.  

It is an exploration of the psychology of the people who built the space station to escape a doomed earth.  It is an experience in self-delusion, denial, and contradiction.  There are 43 rooms in total to explore in this looped experience.
